[The Fact ㅣ Reporter Lee Han-lim ] Actor Yoon Si-yoon shared his feelings about playing the role of Cha Kim Dae-geon in the movie 'Birth'.
Yoon Shi-yoon attended the production report of the movie 'Birth' (Directed by Park Heung-sik) held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 11th and shared moments in the study of roles and impressions of acting. The cast includes Yoon Si-yoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Lee Moon-sik, Kim Kang-woo, Lee Howon, Song Ji-yeon, Jung Yu-mi, Ha-kyung, Park Ji-hoon, and Robin.
On this day, Yoon Shi-yoon recalled a period of filming where he acted with extraordinary ambition while working on the project. In particular, regarding the setting in which he appeared in 'Birth', he expressed his expectations for the work, saying, "If it were simply a religious thing, I wouldn't be able to challenge it".
Yoon Si-yoon said, "'Birth' started with the character Kim Dae-geon, but there are stories about many religious people living in that era. They dream of equality and truth in a new world and try to change that.
He continued, "If it were simply a religious thing, I wouldn't be able to challenge it. Wouldn't it be a story that could be enthusiastically thrown into society? I wanted to show that part while thinking about how to manifest religion and morality to move towards a new and better world,” he added.
Meanwhile, 'Birth', a work depicting the great journey of Kim Dae-geon (Yoon Si-yoon), a pioneer young man who paved the way for modern Joseon, is scheduled to hit theaters on the 30th.
