
BLACKPINK announced the birth of a
record-breaking record that will leave a bold name on K-pop girl group
companies. With the first full-length album in 4 years since their debut, K-pop
girl group 'first, best, most' modifier is poised to change in one shot.
According to YG Entertainment on September
4th, the amount of pre-order for BLACKPINK's first full album 'THE ALBUM'
exceeded 800,000 the previous day. This is the sum of orders from around the
world. Domestic orders exceeded 530,000 copies, and a total of 270,000 copies
in the US and Europe (based on the US Universal label Interscope).
