
Rookie girl group Weeekly has
successfully released their first reality show amid the talk of the town.
On the afternoon of the 17th,
Weeekly unveiled the finalization of its first reality content "PlayM New
Artist Development Team (planned-produced by 1theK)" through the global
K-pop channel brand WonderK YouTube channel, completing a month-long series of
content.
The reality show, which has been
unveiled four times in total, has drawn attention as a web entertainment show
where you can see the preparation process of rookie Weeekly, who has been
stepping up preparations for her final debut since the announcement of her
official debut. The content, which was able to see the members' real-life and
lively sense of entertainment, recorded a total of 1.8 million views on YouTube
thanks to its popularity, realizing K-pop fans' "hot" interest in
girls.
Weeekly, who has been receiving
intensive "spartan-style" education ahead of her debut, including
entertainment training and ending pose, successfully completed all the debut
classes prepared by the "New People's Development Team" by
challenging the final gateway, Teamwork Test.
In particular, in this final
episode, relay video letters to each other were released as a surprise gift for
Weeekly, which touched the hearts of viewers.
Weeekly, who gathered together in
the practice room and watched each member's secretly filmed cheering messages,
burst into tears one by one to show her special affection for the team. The
Weeekly members, who shed tears recalling their past years of hard work in an
invisible place, warmly comforted and encouraged each other, now promising a
"flower path" to walk together under the name of "Weeekly,"
giving a calm impression.
The Weeekly members, who joined
hands at the end of the video, said, "It feels like we've been given a
chance to become stronger," adding to their witty determination to
"let's do it until the day of 'Silver Town' idol."
Meanwhile, PlayM Entertainment's
new girl group Weeekly(Lee Soo-jin, Monday) is presenting after 10 years since
Apink. Ji-han, Shin Ji-yoon, Park So-eun, Cho Ah and Lee Jae-hee) are
17-year-old, seven-member girl group based on the catchphrase, "Everyday
presents a new and special week."
Weeekly, who will release their
first debut album "We Are" on the 30th after completing all classes
of the harsh "New People's Development Team," will continue their
massive debut countdown with the release of various teaser contents, including
concept photos, tracklists and music video teasers.
