
EXO-Lay (S.M. Entertainment) is
on record in China with its new solo album "LIT."
Rey's fourth solo album "LIT" Part.1 released on the 1st topped the QQ Music, Cugou Music, and Couwer Music digital album sales charts right after its release in China, and the title song "Lit" also ranked No. 1 in the overall music video chart of QQ Music, showing Ray's popularity at the top.
In particular, the album broke 30
million yuan (about 5.13 billion won) in sales in just 7 minutes and 19
seconds, setting a new record for the shortest time in QQ music history, on May
29 at QQ Music, China's largest music site.
In addition, on May 30, a day
after the pre-order, the company was listed on the Platinum Epic Album, which
is given to the album achieving 40 million yuan, once again confirming Ray's
strong status there even before its official release.
Ray also proved his global interest in the iTunes Top Albums chart by topping 21 regions worldwide, including Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Guatemala, Oman, Bahrain, the Philippines, Armenia, Belarus, Macau, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Bolivia.
Meanwhile, Ray's fourth solo
album "LIT" Part.1 has a total of six songs, including the
grand-looking title track "Lit," and will be released in the future
in the form of a combined album with Part.2 added to Part.1.
