BTS Maintains Main Album Chart for 10 Week at 36th in U.S. 'Billboard 200'
Group BTS remained in the top
spot for 10 consecutive weeks, ranking 36th on the U.S. Billboard main album
chart "Billboard 200."
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on May 5 (local time), BTS' fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," released on February 21, ranked 36th on "Billboard 200." It has maintained the top spot for 10 weeks since it entered the top spot on March 7.
"MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" has been released for more than two months, but it has been doing well on Billboard's various charts. In both "Top Album Sales" and "Top Current Album Sales," it ranked fourth, up two notches from the previous week, followed by fourth place for "Independent Album," eighth for "Testmaker Album" and 53rd for "Billboard Canadian Album."
In particular, BTS ranked first (MAP OF THE SOUL: 7), second (LOVE YOURSELF), fourth ('MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA', fifth ('YOU NEVER WALK ALONE'), tenth (LOVE YOURSELFD) and 15th (WORLD) on the "World Album" chart.
It also swept the "World Digital Song Sales" chart. Its title track "Lie" from its second full-length album "WINGS" and "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" ranked second and 10th, respectively, while the song "Euphoria" from LOVE YOURSELF 結 "Answer" re-entered the chart to rank 12th.
The title track "Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)" of "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" rose five notches to 17th, while the song "Time Difference" of "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" ranked 22nd.
In addition, BTS grabbed its
177th consecutive No. 1 spot on the "Social 50" chart. It has
continued to record "the most number of times in history" and
"the longest consecutive number of times."
