Twice, join the wish-fulfillment activities of brain tumor patients! an unforgettable moment gift

JYP Entertainment and its girl group TWICE have given the brain tumor patient an unforgettable moment.

Oh Seung-hwan, 15, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June 2019 and is undergoing continuous treatment. As he overcame his illness by listening to TWICE's songs, he dreamed of getting a computer to see the members.

In addition, computers are essential as they are replacing school classes online due to reduced immunity.  JYP received the same story through the Make Awesome Foundation and bought a computer and presented it as a gift to fulfill the wishes of the patients.

It added to the specialty to the computer in question as it contains a cheering video of TWICE, which Oh Seung-hwan likes.

TWICE said, "I've heard that when I was having a hard time with treatment, I listened to our songs and cheered up. It must have been very painful and hard, but thank you for overcoming it bravely. I will always be TWICE who supports Seung-hwan's wonderful dreams,"they said, giving warm hearts.

Also, the member he most wanted to meet, Dahyun, said, "I'm so happy to be able to meet you even on video. I hope you will continue to receive treatment in good health and be as brave as you are If we have a chance later, I hope we can meet at the concert," she said.

Oh Seung-hwan said, "I was moved to tears as I kept watching the video. I gained strength while listening to TWICE's songs when I was doing chemotherapy and radiation. 'Thanks for being brave and enduring the treatment process. I hope to see you at the concert.' I really want to go to the concert and meet them in person," he said.

JYP signed an MOU on social contribution projects with the Korean branch of Make A wish in June 2019. Since then, he has been leading the efforts to achieve wishes for children with incurable diseases through his representative CSR activity, "EDM (Every Dream Matters!: All dreams in the world are precious."

As part of the activities in question, JYP chief Park Jin-young has had time to give vocal and dance lessons directly to children with incurable diseases, and his singers have continued their good deeds by inviting patients to concerts to share meaningful memories.
