BLACKPINK has participated in the new album of pop star Lady GaGa. The mainstream pop market is already fluctuating greatly due to the collaboration of world-class artists who control various fields such as music, fashion, and art.

Lady Gaga released her sixth album "Chromatica" tracklist on her official SNS on April 23 (Korea time). BLACKPINK was named on the album's 10th track "Sour Candy." No specific information on the album's release schedule or music has been released yet, but the news alone has sparked explosive reactions among global fans.

"BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga have naturally started working on the project as they listen to each other's music and become fans," YG Entertainment said.

In addition to Black Pink, Lady Gaga's new album included Ariana Grande and Elton John. BLACKPINK added meaning by putting their names side by side on an album with artists representing the history and present of pop music.

Lady Gaga has won 11 awards and a total of 27 nominations at the Grammy Awards for creative and experimental music so far since her debut. That's why she is called the "Queen of Pop," a singer who is both recognized for her popularity and musicality and built her own unrivaled realm.

BLACKPINK has made a leap into a group representing K-pop with intense music and trendy fashion since its debut. It ranked 41st on the U.S. Billboard's main single chart "Hot 100" and 24th on the main album chart "Billboard 200" through "Kill This Love" in April last year. It was the highest record for a K-pop girl group on the Billboard main chart.

B LACKPINK successfully completed 32 performances in 23 cities on four continents, including North America, Europe, Australia and Asia, starting with Los Angeles. They made a huge move, which is hard to see as a rookie group less than a year after entering the U.S. market.
