APRIL 'Da Capo' Release Question and Answer

Q. What is your seventh mini-album 'Da Capo' for APRIL?

Chae Kyung - As long as we had a long break, it's a very precious album. We worked hard on the title track to create an album that will satisfy both our members and "FINEAPPLE," and also to capture the various colors and charms of APRIL in our tracks. So it's an album that's more precious and I'm attached to.

Q. The K-pop industry is in a slump due to Corona 19. I'm sure you had a lot of worries before making a comeback after a long time.

CHAE WON - In fact, I think it's a lie if I didn't have any more. I wanted to be with our fans for a better performance since we're making a comeback after a long time. I missed them a lot. I feel sorry for these things, but health is the most important thing. I hope everyone can finish their activities well without getting sick. I hope fans always take care of their health!

Q. What kind of song is the title track 'LALILALA'?

Na Eun - The title track 'LAALILA' is a song that has lyrics that sound like a spell. In addition to the meaning of love, I think it can be interpreted in many ways, including the meaning of dreaming my dream. Especially, the killing parts where you can see all of our members' colors are hidden here and there, so don't miss it.

Q. What is the point of watching 'LALILA' performance?

Yena - The overall performance has become more colorful and powerful than before. All the members did their best to capture April's new charm. Every part of 'LALILA' is the point, so I hope you enjoy it!

Q. What kind of image and charm would you like to show April through your mini-album 'Da Capo'?

Rachel - I think we paid a lot of attention to the performance that we can show on stage. I practiced a lot and filmed a lot of videos to meet you guys. Also, we've prepared outfits for various concepts, so please look forward to it. Since it's been a while since we've met "FINEAPPLE," I want to approach the fans with a new look!

Q. How did the members react to the new album concept?

Jinsol - This album is all about the concept, and I think we paid a lot of attention to our outfits. I prepared it hoping that it would look a lot different from the color I showed you as April, but looking at the results, I'm proud that they all look good together.

Q. From fresh looks to confident women, they are said to be growing steadily. In what areas do the members realize their growth?

Chae Kyung - I think I realize April's growth in various concepts. Of course, it's not easy to challenge, but when all the members try hard to pull off the new concept. That's when you realize that we've grown one step further.

Q. Please tell us the song and why you are most attached to each member in this mini album.

Chae Kyung - I am 'Oops I'm Sorry'. I wanted to sing a song in this exciting genre, but when I heard the finished version after recording, it really matched April's voice and it was cute and exciting. I think it was the most fun song I recorded and practiced in this album.

CHAE WON - I think it's 'Oops I'm Sorry'. As soon as I heard it, I really liked the cute and coy lyrics and melody, but when the choreography came out, it felt more perfect for us. I thought that FINEAPPLE would love it.(laughs)

Na Eun - I think my favorite song in this album is the title 'LAALLALAA' which I put my heart and soul into. Another song is called 'Doll'. 'Doll' is a song that we sang 3 years ago, so I think it has memories.

Yena - 'Oops I'm Sorry'! When I listen to this song, I feel excited and want to dance together. That's why it's my favorite song. 

Rachel - I'm most attached to the title track 'LALILALA' in this album. It's the song that I worked the hardest on, and I paid a lot of attention to the choreography because it's a completely different style than before. Personally, my rap part is the most difficult part of the choreography, so I think I practiced harder.

Jinsol - First of all, I have a lot of attachment to the title track. Also, I especially like the time difference that Na Eun and I made together. It's a song that has a lot of memories, probably because we did a few unexpected music shows.

Please tell us how you feel about Na Eun & Jin Sol's unit song 'Time Difference' with composer Kim Hyung Suk. And how was their unit chemistry?

First of all, it was a good memory to release a song through this good project with Na Eun - Jinsol. Maybe because it's a genre that I want to do together, but I think my breathing was really good.

Q. What kind of modifier do you want to get from this album?

CHAE WON - 'Concept Master Dolls'! We've tried many concepts, but April reminds us of cute and innocent images. This time, I'm going to challenge a more mature and dreamy concept, and I want to be praised for being a 'concept master idol' who can do all the concepts well.

Q. What do you want to achieve this year?

Yena - Rather than a special achievement, I want to be healthy and happy first. And I hope April will be loved by more people this year!

Q. Please say a word to Fineapple who waited for April.
