Apink, who is making a comeback
as a full group, predicted a strong hit by previewing the songs in its ninth
mini album.
PlayM Entertainment, the agency,
released a highlight medley video containing previews of songs from its ninth
mini album "LOOK," including the title track "Dumhdurum,"
on Apink's official SNS and fan cafe at midnight on the 10th.
In the two-minute video, the
title track "Dumhdurum" played, captivating the ears at once with the
lyrics, "My heart was colder than Dumhdurum, but you left. That's
good."
"Dumhdurum" is a dance
song that contains the meaning of "My heart is calm in front of the
departed love" in the word "Dumhdurum," with addictive chorus,
melody and spanish yet oriental sensibility, capturing Apink's unique charm,
foreshadowing three consecutive hits linking "I'm So Sick" and
"%%."
In addition, the preview video is
a dance song "Yummy," a witty expression of love with sweet taste,
Cho Rong, Eun Ji and Nam Joo's "Be Myself," Bo Mi, Na Eun and Ha
Young's "Love is Blind," a ballad song that specifically describes
how they are calm in the face of parting, "Overwrite," the 9th
anniversary of the fan song "Love Every Moment" released last year.
In addition, the retro-emotional
layout features members taking photos of their jackets, adding to the fun of
watching.
Apink will release its ninth
mini-album "LOOK" on April 13. Apink's new book "LOOK,"
which is gradually taking off its veil with colorful teaser releases, is about
"me," which means "I love myself as I am, and I will live as I
see it."
Fans are already paying keen
attention to what new charm Apink, which has achieved a successful musical
transformation and is showing off its powerful 10-year girl group power, will
give off its full-fledged activities in a year and three months.
