group (G)I-DLE's new song "Oh my god" is drawing keen attention.
The music video of
"Oh My God," the title track of the (G)I-DLE third mini-album
released at 6 p.m. on the 6th, surpassed 5 million views on YouTube within six
hours of its release, followed by 12 million views as of noon on April 7, 18
hours after its release.
In particular, it has
proved its global popularity by ranking in 47 regions around the world,
including Thailand's No. 1, Saudi Arabia's No. 2, the United Arab Emirates' No.
2, France's No. 3 and the U.S. fourth, as well as maintaining its steady
ranking after topping the list of popular videos on YouTube in Korea five hours
after its release.
(G)I-DLE's third
mini-album, "Oh My God," is a self-written song by "genius
producer" leader Soyeon, and "I believe in myself." It's a Urban
Hiphop genre song that expresses the theme of 'I can be confident just by
believing in myself.'
The music video of
"Oh my god" is generating explosive reactions from fans by leaving a
strong message about love through performances that spread out in purple water
and red mud, as well as bold and unconventional scenes that are hard to readily
try, such as sending red liquid over their faces and black body painting.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE will
continue to be active with its new song "Oh My God."
