Fan & Star, a website that delivers information on idol rankings, launched a special event for KimSungkyu on April 3. It is a large advertising project to celebrate his birthday on April 28.

KimSungkyu's birthday project will be carried out in cooperation with Inspirit (the name of INFINITE's fan club) and Fan & Star at home and abroad. Success is determined by the number of stars donated to the project (points collected from the site).

If 20,000 stars are gathered for the project, a congratulatory video will be shown on the CM board at Hapjeong Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. If the number of stars reaches 45,000, a congratulatory video will also be released on the SM board (wall) at Gangnam Station. In addition, there are plenty of other products, including multi-vision and Max Vision at Hongdae Station, large electronic signboards at the intersection of Hongdae Station, and Shinjuku electronic signboards in Tokyo, Japan.

Currently, 9,701 stars are gathered in the KimSungkyu birthday project. While Hongik University Station Max Vision's product is being achieved, attention is being paid to whether it will succeed for the rest of the year.

The event will run through April 19. Meanwhile, Fan&Star opened the KimSungkyu birthday project on March 29 last year. With the participation of many fans, 118,187 stars gathered. Celebratory videos were screened on April 28 at the electronic display boards of the waiting rooms at 43 stations on Seoul's subway line No. 2 in time for Kim Sungkyu's birthday.
