
IZ*ONE began full-fledged comeback activities.
They staged a comeback on Mnet's music program "M Countdown."
IZ*ONE came back to the fans after about 10 months, they released their first full-length album "BLOOM*IZ" on Feb. 17, performed their new song for the first time through "COMEBACK IZ*ONE BLOOM*IZ," and embarked on full-fledged music broadcast activities starting with "M Countdown."
Their title track "FIESTA" was unveiled for the first time on a music show and presented dazzling, colorful and beautiful performances which featured the image of "Festival" in which IZ*ONE members gathered to bloom their climax and full bloom. Besides the title track, they also performed new songs in "BLOOM*IZ.”
"BLOOM*IZ” is a combination of "BLOOM" and "IZ*ONE," which means "flower blooms," that featured the blooming of IZ*ONE. "BLOOM*IZ" drew explosive reactions around the globe right after their release.
On the first day of the album launch, IZ*ONE sold about 184,000 copies, breaking the all-time No. 1 record for girl group albums in just one day. On Feb.18, the initial sales volume was close to 300,000 copies.
"FIESTA" swept the top spots on real-time charts on major Korean music sites and iTunes charts in 15 regions, right after the release of the song.
Also, the IZ*ONE craze is continuing, with YES24, Sinnara Records, and Interpark topping the daily record sales list.
