
Stray Kids has completed eight U.S. cities during their first world tour.
Stray Kids began their American tour of the “Stray Kids World Tour 'District 9: Unlock'” on January 29th, starting with New York. After that, they successfully finished their concerts in the U.S. with Atlanta on Jan. 31, Dallas on Feb. 2, Chicago on Feb. 5, Miami on May 7, Phoenix on June 9, San Jose on June 13 and Los Angeles on February 16.
The members said, "We were happy performing in eight cities in the U.S. Seeing and experiencing a lot of things seems to have broadened our minds. We want to show you a better version of Stray Kids next time. We hope you look forward to it."
Stray Kids performed four times in three U.S. cities in May last year through their first overseas showcase tour "UNVEIL TOUR 'I am...'” At that time, the company posted sales of all episodes, signaling their leap into the next K-pop flagship group.
They returned to the U.S. after eight months and showed greater growth in terms of performance size and ability, and released explosive energy with overwhelming stage presence.
They performed a total of 24 songs, including "Levanter," the title track of "Clé : LEVANTER," their debut song "District 9," "Hellevator," "Side Effects," "Double Knot" and "MIROH," released last December. Member I.N. celebrated his birthday on Feb. 8 during the tour, and spent a special time in Miami and Phoenix receiving congratulations from local fans.
The audience at the concert hall heated up the atmosphere with strong cheering by standing up from their seats and singing along with them throughout the concert.
High interest in the local media for Stray Kids has also caught the eye. On Feb. 11, U.S.-based KTLA 5 channel "KTLA Morning News" introduced Stray Kids as "a group with a lot of talent and enormous social media power."
Stray Kids performed an English version of "Double Knot," as well as an interview on the show. They also appeared on ABC's main talk shows 'Live with Kelly and Ryan' and FOX5's 'Good Day New York,' and received love calls from media such as iHeartRadio, Allure, Refinery 29, Young Hollywood, FBE, MTV News, People TV, and others to create a global sensation.
Meanwhile, the Stray Kids, who have received eight U.S. cities, are expected to continue their fever in a total of 24 performances in 21 regions, including Osaka, Singapore, Manila, Madrid, Berlin, London, Brussels, Paris, Moscow, Bangkok, Jakarta and Yokohama.
On March 18, they will release their debut best album "SKZ2020" in Japan and officially announce their debut in the local K-pop scene.
