Like the lyrics, "Heart is on the
verge of bursting," the melody reaching its climax and the performance
of adrenaline-burst iKON was all in the bag, which was expected to be well
received by fans.
‘Ah yeah’ was staged on MBC on February 8th! They made their public debut with
the song title "Dive" in "Music Center." The performance
made headlines when they were praised for their unique strong performance that
iKON has pursued since their debut.
In the video clip of "Ah Yeah," iKON members performed sophisticated
sword dances and heated up the practice room with their own energy, releasing
primitive wildness. In particular, the stolen performance, in which members
form formation to match the introductory snare drum sound, caught the attention
of the audience.
The first track of their third mini album, "i DECIDE," was a song
that expressed emotions that shook and excite the whole body. Along with Kim
Dong-hyuk’s self-written song "As You Are," he drew public acclaim
for his musical perfection as much as the title tracks.
The music video and dance video for the title track "Dive" surpassed
10 million views as of the day. The choreography video for "Ah Yeah"
was also expected to draw keen interest from domestic and foreign fans.
iKON’s "i DECIDE" proved its global influence by ranking No. 2 on the
World Wide iTunes album chart, as well as No. 1 on the iTunes album chart in 24
countries after the release of the song. It also topped the Japanese iTunes
album and K-pop albums.
