Girl group GFRIEND held a successful comeback ceremony for their new album.
Starting with Mnet’s on Feb. 6, GFRIEND performed the title track "Crossroads" and the song "Labyrinth," marking the spectacular return of "Performance Queen."
In particular, the first week of the comeback, which was posted on Naver TV, has gained huge popularity as it entered the music-themed daily video TOP10, and the number of direct cam and dance videos has soared.
In addition, choreography videos of "Crossroads" and "Labyrinth," released through GFRIEND’s official YouTube and M2 studio dance YouTube channels, are also currently showing high buzz, with over 2.7 million views.
The new mini-album, "回: LABYRINTH," tells of the moment of choosing a girl faces in her growth process. She has completed the GFRIEND table well-made performance by expressing the complex mind of a girl who is thinking about whether to stay or move forward.
The title track "Crossroads" delivers GFRIEND’s own energy with a dynamic choreography tailored to lyrical lyrics and pounding string sounds. Starting with choreography that expresses heartbeats, the movement of hands that express the intersection, and the choreography of points that walk along the various paths, will prove the face of "Performance Queen" with facial expressions and choreography.
Through the song "Labyrinth," they described the girl’s inner side as a musical, clashing between staying in or escaping a colorful maze. She will be on stage with the most dancers since her debut, performing an unerring sword dance and expelling charisma that overwhelms the stage. The choreography, which expresses the lyrics of the chorus section "Hurricane," is impressive, and gives you a unique appeal as you can feel the powerful vocals of GFRIEND.
Meanwhile, GFRIEND recently started "#CrossroadsChallenge," which imitates the point choreography of their new song "Crossroads," and is drawing huge attention with famous artists such as ZICO, Kim Shin-young and Han Hyun-min participating.
