K-pop band SEVENTEEN has confirmed their third performance of the dome tour.
Pledis Entertainment, the agency, announced on its official SEVENTEEN Japan website and SNS on Feb. 3 that they will hold two additional performances of the Saitama MetLife Dome and the Fukuoka Yahoo-Oku Dome, drawing keen attention from the public.
SEVENTEEN previously made headlines in Japan in November last year, about a year and a half after their official debut in May 2018, and in May 2020, they decided to hold their first dome tour at Tokyo Dome, Yahoo Oku Dome in Fukuoka, and Kyocera Dome in Osaka.
In particular, the company has decided to hold the concert at the MetLife Dome in Saitama due to the enthusiastic support from the Japanese government despite the previous opening of the general ticket reservation. With the addition of the first episode of the "Hukuoka Yahoo-Oku Dome," SEVENTEEN's eight-time domed tour is expected to be one of the four domed tours that will draw more than 350,000 people.
The concerts SEVENTEEN 2019 JAPAN TOUR "HARU" and SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR "ODE TO YOU" IN JAPAN in 2019 drew a total of 330,000 viewers and is expected to see how much more and more of the four dome tours will be illuminated by SEVENTEEN.
In addition, they have shown a solid presence in the region, with Japan’s first single "Happy Ending" topping the annual list of Oricon’s Indies in 2019.
SEVENTEEN, who has been making a remarkable history of their own with unique live performances and music, is planning to heat up the region as they are set to release their second Japanese single "Fallin' Flower" in April as well as host a dome tour this year.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN has continued their SEVENTEEN WORLD TOOUR "ODE TO YOU" since their launch in Seoul in August last year and recently wrapped up their North American tour in eight North American cities.
