
Two super Rookie teams from JYP Entertainment are showing outstanding performances at the start of 2020. Stray Kids and ITZY have shown remarkable growth and emerged as the main players to lead JYP’s future.
Within a short period of time, it has grown into a solid pillar supporting JYP with 2PM, GOT7, DAY6 and TWICE.
Stray Kids is on a steep rise in popularity, with solo concerts covering different parts of the world less than two years after their debut.
They kicked off their much-awaited overseas performance of the world tour "Stray Kids World Tour 'District 9: Unlock' on Jan. 29, with New York at the head.
Prior to the concert, they were invited to the Good Day New York studio on ABC's flagship talk show "Live with Kelly and Ryan" and FOX5 channel.
Fans visited the live site of "Good Day New York" from early in the morning and showed a passionate support for waiting for the Stray Kids around the building.
On March 18, they plan to release their debut best album "SKZ2020" in Japan. The song, which was released on January 31, topped the Line Music Daily chart on the day of its release.
Amid the prospect of a successful entry into Japan, Stray Kids’ presence in the K-pop market is expected to grow further.
ITZY, who debuted in February 2019 after Stray Kids, is writing down JYP's girl group unbeaten story.

If Stray Kids had embarked on the Americas tour starting in New York, ITZY successfully wrapped up their overseas showcase tour’s performance in America here on Jan. 26.
After the end of the stage, they were invited to the FOX5 "Good Day New York," the first to feature a K-pop girl group in the program.
ITZY’s name is preceded by a number of ‘first’ modifiers. Eleven days after their debut, they grabbed the trophy of a terrestrial music program, marking the shortest time for them to become the No. 1 girl group.
The music video for their debut song "DALLA DALLA" surpassed 10 million views within 24 hours of its release, and surpassed 100 million views in 57 days.
JYP's 2020 is even more expected to be led by ITZY, who is newly writing the history of the girl group, and Stray Kids, who stands out as the "next generation K-pop flagship group."
