Sean hosted the Indian-language Duathlon with Zwif to
build Lou Gehrig's Nursing Hospital. The company donated 10 million won to the
fund, and it also changed the color of the year 2020.
The Sihope Foundation, a non-profit foundation for the
hospitality of Lou Gehrig’s disease, donated 10 million won to build Lou
Gehrig’s Yang Hospital through "2020 MIRACLE365 X ZWIFT INDOR
DUATHLON," the first event held this year by MIRACLE375 and ZWIFT.
The competition was a two-Athlon consisting of marathon
and running events, divided into individual competitions and team events of
three groups. In particular, Zwift’s program, which allows visitors to
experience new sports activities even though it is an indoor game through an
online and offline connection, was well received.
Sean participated in the 20-kilometer cycle as an event,
encouraging the participants, and Oh Young-hwan, who holds the Korean record
for Iron Man full course, also joined the event to share his good influence.
Those who passed the first preliminary round picked the final winner with a run
of 1km-cycle 3km (group 2km) and a run of 1km.
Participation in the event was donated in full to build
Lou Gehrig's Nursing Hospital. The event was sponsored by Zwift, as well as
Auckras, KZR, Improvement Sports, ENUP, Aftershow, Powerade, Vital Air Korea,
Cello and Prescod.
"By participating in the
donation through sports, I am grateful that the culture of donation seems to be
spreading," said Sean, co-chairman of the Sihope Foundation. "Lugerick's disease is an incurable
rare disease in which motor neurons are dying, and it is very meaningful that
the participants actively participated in the construction of Lou Gehrig's
Hospital on behalf of Hwanwoo."
"We will do our best to
break ground for the construction of Lou Gehrig's Nursing Hospital in 2020 with
the support of many people," Eun said.
Sean has organized various sports events, including the Ice
Bucket Challenge, to build Lou Gehrig's Nursing Hospital, and is spearheading
the expansion of the culture of donation of carnations. In addition, the
company continues to do good every year, including volunteer briquettes,
donations to build rehabilitation hospitals for children, sponsorship of
children from home and abroad, and donation of pictorial profits.
