Group BTS has shown signs of
going backward on Billboard's main album chart ahead of their comeback.
According to the latest chart
released by Billboard on Jan. 22, MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA ranked 172nd on
Billboard 200, which was released by BTS in April last year.
This is a slight increase from
the 176th place recorded last week and is still a steady favorite ahead of the
release of a new full-length album. The album has been on the charts for 22
consecutive times since it first topped Billboard 200 on April 27.
In addition, MAP OF THE SOUL:
PERSONA is showing a unique presence by ranking first on the charts, 18th on
the "World Album," 21st on the "Top Current Album" and 30th
on the "Top Album Sales."
In addition, BTS remained at
the top for 132 weeks in a row in Social 50. It is the 162nd time that they
have maintained their own record, the longest ever on the Billboard chart.
Meanwhile, BTS will release
their fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" on Feb. 21.
