In January 2020, a large collaboration project takes off its veil.
Paul Kim, a popular singer-songwriter, and Chung Ha, who stands out as the nation’s top female solo artist in the prestigious department of fame, will release a music video of the collaboration duet song "Loveship" at 6 p.m. on Jan. 21.
Earlier in the day, Paul Kim and Chungha made a surprise release of a black-and-white photo of a fresh school uniform through their respective SNS channels, prompting fans to wonder. Paul Kim and Chungha, who have grown to become the "most powerful person on the chart" in each song released, have been working on a duet project since the end of last year, making official news on Jan. 13 and signaling a big collaboration.
It is rumored that the two of them, who have often stated that they are fans of each other’s music, continued to hold long-term collaborative discussions.
Regarding the release of the song, Paul Kim's agency Neuron Music said, "We expect it to be a unique gift to our fans as it was completed by the two artists exchanging opinions for months." Chungha’s agency, MNH Entertainment, also added expectations to their combination, saying, "We decided that the collaborative project with Paul Kim was a good opportunity to instill a different boost into Chungha’s musical field."
Meanwhile, Paul Kim and Chungha’s collaboration duet song "Loveship," jointly planned and produced by Neuron Music, MNH Entertainment and Kakao M, will be available on January 21 at 6 p.m. on major online music sites, including Melon.
