EXO and Red Velvet proved SM power by dominating the Gaon monthly and weekly charts released on January 9.

Released on November 27, EXO’s sixth full-length album "OBSESSION" topped Gaon’s monthly albums chart for the second straight month to reach the top spot in November, followed by Hanterchart and Hot Tracks, which also confirmed its monthly power.

In addition, with the latest album, EXO has garnered global acclaim by sweeping domestic and foreign charts, including No. 1 in iTunes Top Albums Charts, No. 1 in U.S. Billboard World Albums Charts and World Digital Song Sales Charts, No. 1 in United World Charts, No. 1 in China QQ Music, KUGOU MUSIC, No. 1 in digital album sales and No. 1 in music broadcasting.

Red Velvet also topped weekly albums and download charts released on Dec. 23 with the repackaged album The ReVe Festival and the title track "Psycho," marking the second consecutive weekend of winning two gold medals.

Red Velvet’s repackage album has dominated various global charts, including No. 1 in music broadcasts, No. 1 in Billboard’s World Digital Song sales chart, No. 1 in 44 regions around the world on iTunes’ top albums chart, and No. 1 on the Korean singles charts in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
