The music video for "DNA," the title track of BTS' LOVE YOURSELF and "Her," drew more than 900 million views on YouTube around 9:13 a.m. on Saturday.
This made the music video of "DNA" surpassed 900 million views for first time. Since its release in September 2017, "DNA" has been on the chart for four consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and received keen attention from the Recording Industry Association of the U.S. in February 2018.
The "DNA" music video, which captures BTS’ performance sensibility, visually expresses the lyrics that "We were both fatefully intertwined from the beginning and were one from DNA" through a scene transformation that seems to cross through virtual reality and space.
In addition, BTS received "FIRE," "FAKE LOVE," "Boy With Luv Feat. Halsey," ‘MIC Drop’ 600 million views" IDOL," "DOPE," "Blood Sweat & Tears" 500 million views and "Save Me" 400 million views" ‘Not Today’, ‘Boy In Luv’ 300 million views and ‘Spring Day’, ‘War of Hormone’, ‘I NEED U’ 200 million views ‘Danger’, ‘Just one day’, ‘We Are Bulletproof Pt.2’, ‘RUN’, ‘Serendipity’, ‘Singularity’, ‘No More Dream’ 100 million views.
Meanwhile, BTS announced the release of their new album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" on Feb. 21 and released their comeback trailer "Interlude: Shadow" at midnight on Jan. 10.
