Sechs Kies has unveiled some of its new songs, raising hopes for a new album.
YG Entertainment posted Sechs Kies’ new album concept video "SECHSKIES - THE 1ST MINI ALBUM CONCEPT VIDEO" on its official blog at 4 p.m. on Jan. 10.
In the video, four members of Eun Ji-won, Lee Jae-jin, Kim Jae-deok and Jang Soo-won are searching for something through the wind-swept curtains. The members' vague emotional performances create a dreamy yet mysterious atmosphere, stimulating the sensibility of the viewers at once.
The intro is impressive in its trendy sound, which helps restore lyrical sensibilities. The gentle drumbeat awakens the sleeping sensibility, tapping on the chest and making people listen to the temple. The song "I came to you because I had something to say" here seems calm, maximizing the mournful atmosphere and further raising questions about what the title track will tell.
Sechs Kies has attracted public support through diverse and intensive music activities. The three words, "Don’t be sick," "Sad Song" and "Special Sea," which were released after their nests at YG, swept various charts and were evenly illuminated by past hits, proving their first-generation idol-like prowess.
Sechs Kies, who reorganized into a four-member group, will be in public for the first time in about two years and four months with a new mini-album on Jan. 28. Sechs Kies has prepared more than ever to further enhance its perfection.
With the new album, which is more solid and solid, it is expected to fill the winter music scene in a richer way and satisfy the sensibilities of the listeners.
