
KIM KOOK HEON, SONG YU VIN confirmed their comeback on Jan. 7 next year as a duo named B.O.Y.
On Dec. 23, their agency The Music Works released B.O.Y.'s first mini-album, "Phase One: You," on its official SNS. According to the time table, B.O.Y. is expected to release various contents sequentially until the release date of the album slated for Jan. 7 next year, boosting its comeback fever.
B.O.Y. opened the two versions of the album concept photo on Dec. 25 for a total of six days, followed by tracklist on Dec. 31, trailer video on Jan. 1, music video teaser on Jan. 2, highlight medley video on Jan. 3, and pop-up store on Jan. 6. On Jan. 7, the album will be released and the comeback will be reported as a showcase.
Expectations are high that B.O.Y., which is in the midst of a full-fledged countdown to its comeback with the release of the time table, will showcase the music and stage of the concept through its first mini album, "Phase One: YOU."
KIM KOOK HEON and SONG YU VIN, who debuted in 2017 with boy band Mytin, will reorganize their activities as a duo and embark on a new leap forward under the name B.O.Y. The name has two meanings: ‘Best Of You’ and ‘Both Of You’, which is referred to as ‘KOOK HEON&YU VIN’ or ‘KOOK HEONYU VIN& Fan’.
Prior to their official debut, they also held a mini concert "Dear, YOU" on Dec. 24 and 25 at the Gaidang Hall of Sangmyung Art Center in central Seoul to have a special time with fans.
