AKMU won three gold medals on the Gaon Chart in October, proving once again that they were the strongest music duo this fall.

In addition, attention has emerged on whether the title track of their third full-length album "SAILING," "How can I Love the Heartbreak, You're the One I Love," can be crowned as "2019 Song of the Year."

AKMU's "How can I Love the Heartbreak, You're the One I Love," swept the top digital, download and streaming charts, according to the monthly chart for October released on Nov. 7.

AKMU's monthly chart throne in October has already been fully anticipated with a number of objective indicators.

“How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You're The One I Love”, which was announced on September 25th, topped the weekly digital and streaming chart from the 40th week of Gaon Chart to the 43rd week. They were two-time gold medalist for the first four weeks in a row this year.

It also topped weekly download charts for the 39th and 40th weeks, becoming the main winner of the country's most prestigious music chart, the Gaon Chart, in October.

“How Can I Love The Heartbreak, You're The One I Love” topped, not only the Gaon chart, but also the monthly charts of various music sites such as Melon, Genie, Olleh, Naver, Soribada and Monkey3.

Especially among countless music powerhouses, only the No. 1 Melon daily chart recorded a cumulative 30 days. This is the longest Melon has ever topped the list so far this year. It has been more than a month since the release of the song, and it is maintaining the top spot on the chart.

AKMU, who made their first comeback in two years and two months, released a deep philosophical message in mature sound through the album, drawing great love from the public and fans. As a musician, they have maintained AKMU's musical orientation and gained public popularity at the same time.

AKMU will hold concerts "AKMU [SAILING] TOUR IN Seoul" at the Peace Hall of Kyunghee University on Dec. 14 and 15.
