The singer-songwriter YU SEUNGWOO expressed his thoughts on ending "Sound of Music."
In the second part of SBS' special program "Sound of Music – A Song For Memories," which aired on Oct. 13, YU SEUNGWOO was shown showing off the singer-songwriter's talent by making its final appearance at Vanuatu, offering attractive healing songs inspired by local children.
YU SEUNGWOO, who started singing along with a guitar on a beach with a beautiful sound of waves, captured both the eyes and ears of viewers with its own song titled "Angela." Having created a cozy atmosphere with his warm, soft melody and delicate lyrics, he revealed his affection for Vanuatu with songs that perfectly blend in with the serene beach.
YU SEUNGWOO revealed the background of the song's birth, saying, "They were too clear to laugh, they were embarrassed to tickle, and they had a name like Angela among their children. I think the people of Vanuatu have not been strange since then."
He also showed off his colorful charm by visiting various villages in Vanuatu, including Espiritu Santo Island, along with Apink Jung Eun-ji, singer-songwriter Sun Woo-jeong, singer-songwriter Yoo Jae-hwan, and media artist Defol.
YU SEUNGWOO played his bass to his Vanuatuan hosts and enjoyed together, giving them a lively atmosphere, singing them songs in return for their excitement and carefully taking care of Seonwoo Jeong-ah whose steps were left behind by the volcanic crater to collect sound.
Yoo Seung-woo, who created new music, spared no effort, and released various charms through "Sound of Music," delivered his special ending remarks through his agency Starship Entertainment on Friday.
"This is the first time that I have ever seen beautiful nature so closely and tried to make the sound of nature into a song," YU SEUNGWOO said. "It was valuable and fascinating time and experience for a singer."
"It was a challenge that I started because I wanted to try new music, and at the same time, I was able to create many unforgettable moments for my entire life. I would like to thank the musicians Jung Eun-ji, Sun Woo-jeong, Yoo Jae-hwan, and Dipol and the Sound of Music staff who worked hard for good music in the future."
YU SEUNGWOO has been loved by fans since his debut with "Hello" in 2013, featuring hits including "Everyone else but me," "You're beautiful," "Whatever," "LINE," "Only U," "PROD. BrotherSu" and "You and I." From Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, the 2019 Yoo Seung-woo’s Concert will be held at Hwaham Hall, the 100th Anniversary Hall of Ewha Girls' High School in central Seoul.
