
TVXQ, Asia's Top Act, once again rewrote Japan's Oricon History.
TVXQ topped the Oricon Daily albums chart for five days in a row from the day of its release with its 15th anniversary album "XV," which was released last Friday, and topped the Weekly Albums Chart for the eighth time in its career.
The new record of No. 1 in the Oricon Weekly Albums Overseas Artists Chart was a first in the band‟s history, breaking the record of No. 1 as overseas artists, proving once again its high popularity in the country.
In response, Oricon said on its website on the morning of the 22nd: "TVXQ, the 15th anniversary album, is the eighth-best-selling album in its career," adding that TVXQ's latest album "XV" sold 155,000 copies, in its first week of release. It's the eighth best overall," TVXQ said, shedding light on the record, "I've become the only artist in the history in overseas artist albums chart to have achieved this."
The album features 12 new songs including "Guilty," as well as a total of 15 other songs in various genres, including single releases such as "Jealous," "Hot Hot" and "Miruses," and is also expected to be released through various music sites, including Melon, Flo and Genie, at noon on Oct. 23.
Meanwhile, TVXQ is coming November 9th, to the Fukuoka Yahoo! Starting with a domed performance, as the company is planning to start its fourth tour of Japan's five major domed tours called '東方神起 LIVE TOUR 2019~XV.
