Winner has confirmed the release date for his new song on Oct. 23.
YG Entertainment posted a poster of Winner's comeback teaser on its
official blog at 10 a.m. on Oct. 10. Through this, Winner announced that he
will release his third mini album "CROSS" at 6 p.m. on Oct. 23.
With this album, Winner will be making his first fall season appearance since
his debut. It raises expectations that Winner's music and concept will be
different from the "smoothness" he introduced in summer.
Winner used four light stems and four members' hands in two previous
sessions to create meaning. In particular, a colorful spectrum was produced at
the intersecting contacts, signaling a change.
The four members of the group, each with its own direction and characteristics,
can be inferred that they contain Winner's relationship, music and story, which
has become a new intersection. The new album, CROSS, is also an extension of
this interpretation.
Along with the new album, Winner will hold "WINNER [CROSS] TOUR IN
SEOUL" at the KSPO DOME in Seoul on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. The concert was
organized differently under the subheadings of "X" and "+,"
which symbolize the performance title "CROSS."
After the Seoul concert, Winner will embark on a tour of seven Asian
cities, including Taipei, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Singapore.
