AOA Yuna is playing on different stages.
Recently, Yuna received attention for her
successful performances as a singer and actress on Mnet's entertainment program
"Queendom" and musical "Onemore."
In "Queendom," AOA (Jimin, Yuna,
Hyejeong, Seolhyeon and Chanmi) which reorganized into a five-member group and
made its debut to the public, drew attention with perfect performances. In
particular, the second round of competition, under the theme of "The Other
Team Cover Song," covered Mamamoo's "Egotistic," proving the
eight-year idol group's orchestral and sensibility, as well as exceeding 10
million views in accumulated video views, leading to high buzz.
In addition, Yuna is expanding her spectrum
by challenging a new genre called musicals. Yuna has been on a steady track as
an actress as well as a singer. She showed stable performance by building a
variety of Filmography, including Web dramas "Prince's Prince,"
"Hot and Sweet," "My Old Friend," "Two Hearts"
and the drama "Single Wife." In addition, in the musical, which combines story and
music, Yuna exerts her strengths as a singer and gives off a synergy of the
play.
Yuna's musical debut, "One More,"
is based on the webtoon "The Day After Break," a romance that tells
the story of Yutan, an indie band vocalist who repeats an unwanted time loop,
and his girlfriend, Dain. In the drama, Yuna was in a difficult situation, but
she showed off her high synchro rate as Yutan's girlfriend Dain to keep life
and love alive with a firm will and belief.
In "One More," Yuna has been well
received by the audience by consistently playing various numbers with
attractive tones and cool singing. She has also been emerging as a dark horse
in the musical world for her witty stage manners and excellent characterization
as well as her highly
immersive performance with delicate expressions of emotion by the main
character.
Meanwhile, "One More," a musical
starring Yuna, will be available at the second theater of the Oriental Art
Center until Oct. 27.
