Boy group B1A4 Gongchan was cast as the
main character for Playlist’s mew drama called "To My Name."
Gongchan has been chosen to play Yoo
Jae-ha, the main character of the Playlist's new drama "To My Name,"
the agency WM Entertainment said on Tuesday.
Gongchan's character, Yoo Jae-ha, is a
handsome student of photography who attracts the attention of many people
around him. However, he is disinterested in his own destiny or love.
Playlist's new film "To My Name"
(played by Joo Seong-min and Kim Soo-jung) is a fantasy romance genre centered
on a realm called the "Nameverse." Nameverse has a fresh and
intriguing concept where the name of the person one is destined to be with is
engraved on one’s body. As it is a fresh material that has never been dealt
with before, attention is being paid to the unusual fun that "To My
Name" will show.
Gong Chan, the youngest member of B1A4, was
the most handsome boy in the idol industry, and performed in the web drama "Travel
Through Romance Season 1.5," garnering great acclaim for his handsome appearance
and stable acting skills. In August, he completed his first solo fan meeting
"2019 B1A4 A BANA [HAPPY GONGCHAN DAY]" at the K-Art Hall in Seoul
Olympic Park.
Meanwhile, "To My Name" will
premiere on November 6 through Playlist YouTube and Facebook. On Naver TV, the
first episode will be released in advance from October 2 .
