
AKMU has been at the top of major music
charts for the week since the release of the new song, kicking off its
long-term chart dominance.
As of 9 a.m. on Oct. 1, AKMU's third
full-length album "SAILING" title track "How Can I Love The Heartbreak,
You're The One I Love" topped major real-time charts such as Melon, South
Korea's largest music site, Bugs, Genie and Olleh.
AKMU has occupied music charts for a week
since the release of the new song on September 25, foreshadowing a popular long
run.
The new album "SAILING," which
contains the maturity of AKMU, which made its comeback after two years and two
months, has been highly acclaimed for its deeper sensitivity and diverse
genres.
"How Can I Love The Heartbreak, You're
The One I Love" made eight music charts in just three hours after its
release on September 25. In addition, all the songs in "SAILING" such
as "Chanty," "Fish in the Water" and "FREEDOM"
reached the top of the music charts, achieving a tightrope of music charts.
In particular, AKMU's outdoor listening
session "Sailing at Autumn Night," which was held on September 29 at
the Han River Park in Yeouido, Seoul, drew as many as 30,000 spectators,
creating a sensation of popularity. In addition, the concert was watched by
77,000 people on the V-Live, and was the talk of the town with 4.12 million
hearts during the show.
AKMU will appear on SBS Power FM's "2
O Clock Escape Cultwo Show," which will be broadcast live on October 1 at
2 p.m., to communicate with fans.
