Lovelyz Kei will
start her solo career on Oct. 8 for the first time in five years since her
debut.
Woollim
Entertainment released its image of the K-teaser on its official SNS at
midnight on Thursday, making it official to launch a solo. It is her first solo
album in five years since debuting in 2014 with girl group Lovelyz.
Kei has performed
various artists and collaboration music and various O.S.T. songs, but this is
the first time she has officially released a solo album.
The teaser images
released include the release date "October 8th, 2019 RELEASE," along
with the text of the album's title name "Over and Over" and "Kim
ji yeon 1st mini album," which means Kei's first mini album.
The album's title
"Over and Over" is meant to be "Kei's new musical attempt that
continues to advance." In particular, in the teaser image, Kei's real
name, "Kim Ji-yeon," attracts attention. In response, the agency said
that she became a solo artist by her real name, "Kim ji yeon," not a
Lovelyz member Kei, to show a variety of musical colors.
Fans are
increasingly anticipating what concept and music Kei will showcase, as she
takes her first step as a solo artist in October.
Meanwhile, Kei, who is on the countdown to her full-fledged solo
debut, will step up her preparations for the last minute of the album. Kei's
first solo mini-album can also be booked through the online record-buying site
from 2 p.m. on Sept. 27.
