
Global group IZ*ONE
once again shook the Japanese music scene.
IZ*ONE's third
single, "Vampire," released in Japan on Sept. 25, topped the Oricon
Daily Singles chart with sales of more than 170,000 copies in just one day.
With this, IZ*ONE topped the Oricon chart on the day of its third consecutive
release, proving its hot popularity in Japan.
IZ*ONE also sold
more than 190,000 copies in just one day when its debut single "CSI"
was released in Japan in February, and also posted more than 190,000 sales with
its second single "Buenos Aires" released in June, topping the Oricon
Daily singles rankings. On top of that, "Vampire" also topped the
Oricon chart, recording three consecutive top spots, drawing attention from
global fans.
"IZ*ONE,"
which topped the list of new female artists in sales rankings for the first
time in the first half of 2019 when Oricon, Japan's largest music sales
website, released earlier, added to expectations for its future performance by
anticipating the success of its third single album.
Meanwhile, IZ*ONE
demonstrated its reputation as a global idol by attracting 50,000 viewers along
with voice material and performance front-seat tickets for the Japanese tour
"IZ*ONE 1ST CONCERT [EYES ON ME]" after its performance at Saitama
Super Arena in Japan on Sept. 25.
