
The group SEVENTEEN
has made another new history, breaking its own initial record.
SEVENTEEN's third
full-length album "An Ode" released on Sept. 16 broke its own record
once again with a total of 700,000 first-time sales, showing its relentless
moves, making 2019 the "Year of Seventeen."
According to Hanteo
Chart, Korea's largest music sales website, SEVENTEEN's third full-length album
was the top-selling album chart of the week (09.16 to 09.22 aggregate) with
700,863 first-time sales.
In particular, the
company sold more than 330,000 copies of its predecessor "YOU MADE MY
DAWN" three days after its release, and its sales, which had continued to
rise, achieved "half a million" in just four days and sold a total of
700,000 copies, well surpassing its own record.
In addition,
SEVENTEEN, who topped the first-half sales list in the second half of 2019, has
been growing gradually and breaking its own record every time, which is 500
times the first-half sales of its debut album, thus proving itself to be a more
remarkable growth and earning praise as well as being a "reversible
SEVENTEEN"
Upon its release,
SEVENTEEN's third full-length album topped various online music site charts,
topped a total of 24 regions including the U.S., Canada, "and Indonesia on
overseas iTunes K-pop album charts and proved once again a hot trend at home
and abroad.
The meaning of the
darkest side is very negative. It means a great disadvantage or a really bad
secret or personality.
As such, SEVENTEEN
clearly shows the darkest side (which have not been shown before) of the title
track of its third full-length album, "Fear," which contains clear
values and solid musical capabilities, and is raising the quality of the stage
with performances that are deadly and sexy, drawing attention to SEVENTEEN's
moves that have changed 180 degrees.
