The U.S. Billboard highlighted the comeback
of TWICE, a K-pop one-top girl group.
Billboard published an in-depth article on
TWICE's new song 'Feel Special' on September 23.
First, it called TWICE a hit girl group and
described its comeback title track "Feel Special" as an "intense
song with a hopeful message."
It noted the irregular, rhythmical sound as
well as the lyrics with warm comfort.
Since the song is based on TWICE's honest
story, it emphasized the setting of each member's character in the music video
that matches the lyrics.
"Feel Special" was inspired by
Park Jin-young's conversation with TWICE and drew attention with songs written
and composed.
The song, created with a combination of
"Park Jin-young X TWICE," topped music charts at home and abroad upon
its release, and gave TWICE a milestone of "12 consecutive hits."
As of 9 a.m. on Sept. 25, it has maintained
the top spot on the local music charts, including Naver Music and Bugs'
real-time chart.
The new album "Feel Special" drew
attention as it topped iTunes album charts in 26 regions overseas, including
the U.S., "the home of pop."
Meanwhile, TWICE is meeting fans around the
world through "TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 "TWICELIGHTTS."
Due to the enthusiastic response from
global ONCE (Fandom Name), it recently decided to add three more concerts in
Japan.
