Just a week before its comeback, AKMU
released a novel-long title song.
YG Entertainment posted the poster of the
title track of Akmu's third full-length album "SAILING" on its official
blog at 10 a.m. on Sept. 18.
AKMU's latest title track was made up of 19
words with " How can I love the heartbreak, you're the one I love?"
It is a long sentence that has not been commonly seen, and it is a novel title
that once again evokes the meaning of it, drawing attention
Lee Chan-hyuk has shown his potential as a
musician by making his own name in the songwriting and composition of the title
track. Lee Hyun-young participated in the arrangement, adding to the level of
perfection.
The song was an unfinished song released by
Lee Chan-hyuk at the "Thumb Day Festival," which he participated in
just before joining the military in 2017, drawing attention with the parting
lyrics that empathize with the lovers who were separated at the time. Unlike
the first time it was performed with a packed band sound, the song has been
rearranged to highlight the lyrics this time.
Posters were placed side by side with
individual cuts by Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Soo-hyun. The two look as if they were
overcome by feelings of separation. Lee Chan-hyuk, who holds a brush in one
hand, and Lee Soo-hyun, who pulled both hands toward her body, stirred
curiosity.
AKMU's latest report, "SALING,"
covered the theme of "Differential" across the board through the
keyword "Leave Me," and released the heavy emotion of a breakup with
the band sound, making it cool and plain.
As for how she feels about presenting her
new album after about two years and two months since "SUMMER EPISODE"
released in July 2017, Lee Chan-hyuk said, "I have a different mindset. He
is exceptionally serious and excited. I hope everyone feels the same way,"
he said.
"I missed the stage so much," Lee
said, expressing her strong ambition to show music to the fullest extent she
has been preparing for a long time.
AKMU's third full-length album
"SALING" will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on Sept.
25. In addition, the offline album and Lee Chan-hyuk's first novel, "Water
Meet Fish," will be officially released on Wednesday, a day after the
release of the song.
