
The global audition reality show
"World Class" with a new format has opened.
The special page of the global K-pop idol
growth journal "World Class," which will premiere on Mnet and V-app
on Sept. 4, was opened abruptly on Thursday afternoon.
A video of the 20-member group's first
performance was released on V-live. Practitioners with different personalities
captured the hearts of global fans with their fresh yet lively boyhood.
Filmed in Seoul, New York, and LA,
"World Class" is a new concept idol-raising reality and survival
program that will vividly portray the competition and process that 20 trainees
from Korea, Japan, China, the U.S., and Australia engage into debut as TOOs.
In every episode famous producers and
artists from abroad and guests from Korea will make a surprise appearance in
front of 20 trainees who dream of becoming the next global idol. While carrying
out the mission, trainees will be reborn as an up-and-coming artist, performing
not only dance and singing but also acting and entertainment.
The 10 final debut members of the TOO will
consist of three trainees choose by the World Class Committee, three choose by
the Mission Assessment and Expert and four choose from the Final live show.
Among them, the World Class Committee is a
differentiated screening group only for the “world class”. As an artist who will
be active on the global stage, it chooses 50:50 Korean and overseas
subscribers.
A message of participation in the screening
will be sent to the choose World Class Committee every week on a V-app notice,
and one World Class member can exercise a total of 30 votes for six days with
five votes allocated. The screening results will be released simultaneously on
the main broadcast of "World Class" at 11 p.m. every Friday night,
starting with the first broadcast on October 4.
Four members of the final's live choose
will also carry out the screening process through V LIVE.
