With the release
of a series of personal teaser videos of MNET Global Idol Projec'TOO trainees,
a thick fandom is already forming.
At noon on Aug.
30, personal teaser videos of trainee WOOG GI X JAE HO, which will compete for
the TOO debut, were posted on various SNS sites, including World Class'
official V-Live and Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
WOONG GI is a
Korean trainee in vocal and acting positions and has released teaser videos
featuring fresh charms like oranges. The WOOG GI, which gave points with a
white shirt and ribbon tie embroidered with colorful cubes, drew attention with
its changing facial expression and smiley look.
On the other hand,
JAE HO, a South Korean trainee in dance and vocal positions, showed off his
flamboyant dance skills in a studio with an orange background. Sensible
choreography using upper body mannequins and median hair helped raise
expectations for the performance that JAE HO will do in the future.
The "MNET
Global Idol Project" group "TOO" means "an orchestra
oriented toward 10 Eastern values." Twenty trainees from Korea, Japan,
China, the U.S., and Australia will compete to make their debut as TOOs, with
only 10 trainees making their finals debuts.
The new concept
idol-raising reality show "World Class," which will portray the
survival process, kicked off its first promotion at the "KCON 2019
NY" held in July, and 20 trainees were first unveiled through "KCON
2019 LA" at the LA Staples Center & LA Convention Center for four days
from July 15-18.
On the same day,
the 20-member trainee set up a global fandom on the convention program
"Futcher Idol Stage" as well as a high-touch event.
"World Class"
will premiere on Mnet channel and V-app in October.
