
Red Velvet (Red Velvet, SM Entertainment)
has completed its promotion in Indonesia.
Red Velvet visited Jakarta, Indonesia, on
Sept. 3-4 for the promotion of its mini-album ``The ReVe Festival'' Day 2 _ and
gained enthusiastic acclaim for its colorful activities, including press
conferences, fan events and appearances on air.
At a press conference at Jakarta's Raffles
Hotel on September 3, Red Velvet announced its visit to Indonesia, an episode
of its new album, and plans for the future, and a variety of local media
including CNN Indonesia, IDN Times, Sindo, Republika, and Kumbaran showed their
interest in Red Velvet.
After the press conference, Red Velvet also
hosted a fan event, closely communicated with some 2,000 fans through colorful
sections, including games and talk, as well as the "Zimzalabim" and
"Umpah Upah" stages, and added warmth to the surprise party for
member Joy, who celebrated her birthday on the day.
In addition, Red Velvet also appeared on
entertainment information programs such as "!NSERT" on Indonesia's
airwave channel TRANS TV, RCTI TV and "SILET" on Sept. 4 to share
various stories, including radio channel TRAX FM, which brought about its
popularity in the country
Meanwhile, Red Velvet topped various local
music charts with its mini-album ``The ReVe Festival'' Day 2 and topped the
iTunes Top Albums chart in 38 regions around the world, while its title song
"Umpah Upah" also topped local music charts and won six gold medals
for music broadcasts, and Korea Music's top music video chart for Chinese QQ
Music.
