Girl group Crayon Pop’s CHOA and WAY, which are about to make a comeback, released their new songs in advance and raised expectations.

CHOA and WAY appeared on SBS FM's "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time" on Sept. 2 and performed their new song "My Universe."

It is the first new song released by the two, who worked as the idol group's first twin unit strawberry milk, and it is a song that shows their unique chemistry.

Fans were also receiving enthusiastic responses as they chose the unconventional promotion two days before their comeback. In particular, it is said that they were able to rediscover the mature vocal and emotional expressions of CHOA and WAY, which mainly showcased unconventional concepts during their Crayon Pop activities.

The new single, "My Universe," is an indie-style sophisticated pop ballad that expresses the feelings of falling in love. Here, the sounds of the two look strangely similar and beautiful songs combine to convey charm.

Since the new song is based on a theme of "Something Different like the West," a special video has also been prepared. The two will unveil their time of knowing each other by sharing stories they experienced while being twins, their tastes and new songs as well as episodes from their Crayon Pop career. The special video, conducted with a speed interview, will be released on Bugs Music and WAY's YouTube channel "Wayland" at 6 p.m. on Sept. 3.

CHOA and WAY have been impressive in their respective fields. CHOA began her full-fledged acting career with KBS2's "High School: Love On," and recently established a solid footing as an actress by performing as a Chinese girl Lingling in the musical "Hero." WAY opened her YouTube channel "Wayland" and succeeded in transforming herself into a creator with 150,000 subscribers. The two, who have distinguished themselves in many ways, are expected to receive great attention for their musicality as well as new image changes through their first new song "My Universe" in three years.

Meanwhile, High Fly Music, who produced the single "My Universe" is a music production that plans and produces a variety of media content with music mediums, along with the artist's individuality.
