
The group BTS has been on the Billboard
main album chart for four months, continuing its record streak.
According to the latest chart released by
the U.S. Billboard on Aug. 27, BTS' MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA ranked 114th on
the Billboard 200.
This marks a four-step rise in last week's
rankings, and the album was listed on the chart for the 19th consecutive week
after topping "Billboard 200" on April 27.
In addition, MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA
ranked second in "World Albums," sixth in "Independent Albums"
and 17th in "Top Album Sales."
In addition, BTS WORLD OST, in which BTS
participated in vocal and production, ranked 94th on "Billboard 200,"
making it into the main album chart for the third consecutive week.
BTS has been ranked No. 1 for 111 consecutive
weeks on "Social 50" for the 141st time in its career and is
maintaining its longest record.
Meanwhile, BTS was selected as the winner
of the "Best Group" and "Best K-Pop" categories at the
"2019 MTV Video Music Awards" on Aug. 26, proving its worldwide
popularity once again.
