A teaser video for singer Sunmi's new song "LALALAY" was released in a surprise move.

Its agency, MayKers Entertainment, posted a teaser video for Sunmi's new single "LALALAY" on its official SNS at 0 a.m. on Aug. 23. In about 45 seconds, the video shows Sunmi with her blonde hair and an intense red lip and red dress, giving off an enchanting charm.

The message teaser is a video that conveys the message that she wants to express through her new song "LALALAY" with Sunmi's voice. "I wanna go up the end, this is not my first step but my first move. Peel off the shell that holds me back in the past. I'll  able to find it."

In particular, Sunmi's performance as she sped along, staring at the camera with sensuous yet captivating colors and dreamy eyes, gave a powerful impact as if she were watching a movie trailer.

The new song "LALALAY" is Sunmi's self-composed song that she worked on while on her world tour "WARNING" tour of Mexico. Dance-hall and Latin-like exotic sounds are expected to capture the public's eyes and ears with unique lyrics and Sunmi's unrivaled performances that pour in and out of poetic metaphors, straightforward narratives.

Meanwhile, Sunmi will release her new single "LALALAY" at 6 p.m. on Aug. 27 and embark on full-fledged broadcasting activities. The fan showcase marking the release of "LALALAY" at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at 8 p.m. on the same day will be available live on Naver's V LIVE Sunmi channel.
