- Apink Oh Ha-young, 1st mini album 'OH!'
her first solo debut in eight years
Oh Ha-young, the youngest of the
nine-year-old K-pop girl group Apink, will release a solo album today (May 21).
Oh Ha-young will launch her solo career
with the release of her first mini album "OH!" including her solo
debut song "Don't Make Me Laugh" at 6 p.m. today (June 21) through a
major music site.
Oh Ha-young, who previously made her first
solo debut in eight years and made headlines as the group's second solo runner
to connect Jung Eun-ji, signaled that she would move beyond Apink's youngest to
seek a different transformation as a solo singer.
The track list of her first mini album "OH!" has been
filled with five colorful music genres. The title track "Don't Make Me
Laugh" is the result of the birth of a world-renowned producer who worked
on Dua Ripa's "New Rules" and Jed and Katie Perry's "365,"
which has an impressive melody of addictive hooks, with talented musicians such
as Bayvilleon and Canto taking part in the feature song.
In addition, Oh Ha-young has been making
headlines online by releasing various attractions such as a cheery teaser and a
dance spoiler, provoking questions about her new songs, music videos and solo
performances that have yet to be released.
Attention is focusing on whether Oh
Ha-young, the "Goddess of Cheongryang" who is expected to bring such
high-quality music and fun to watch and listen to with colorful visuals, will
rise as the new "summer queen" of the music industry this summer.
