In October, SM Entertainment will join hands with the U.S.-based Capitol Music Group (CMG) to unveil "SuperM," a coalition of top artists that will wow music fans around the world.

SuperM is a team of seven members, including SHINee Taemin, EXO Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127's Taeyong and Mark, as well as Chinese groups WayV Lucas and Ten, while SuperM's M is an acronym for MATRIX & MASTER, which brings together outstanding talent artists who lead global music fans to present what they call a "super" team.

In addition, SuperM was produced by Lee Soo-man at the request of CMG, a global music label that includes pop stars such as The Beatles, Katie Perry, Sam Smith, and Troisivan.

Therefore, SuperM not only presents high-quality contents through producer Lee Soo-man's production but also heralds the launch of "medium-class" through large-scale promotions in the U.S. based on CMG's excellent network and marketing capabilities.

Producer Lee Soo-man, in particular, attended the "Capital Congress 2019" at 12 p.m. on August 7 (local time) at the Arclight Theater in Los Angeles, where he announced his lineup of artists, music and project plans, and said, "I've recently received a new team's production from Chairman Steve Barnett of the Capitol Music Group to boost Asian and Western synergies. I'm SuperM, the group that was born. 

With seven outstanding artists, SuperM will present differentiated music, while SuperM's outstanding dance, vocal and rap skills will show different levels of performances, fashion, and visual K-Pop's core value," he explained.

SM Entertainment has been discovering artists by creating a system for casting, training, and debuting, and for many years, it has been building the best system to produce the best results. 

SuperM is the result of SM's music performance philosophy.

And Steve Barnett, chairman of the company, said of SuperM, "This is the first time I've heard of a Big News. 

CMG and Asia's No.1 entertainment group SM will work together to showcase SuperM, a coalition of top stars. SuperM will be recorded as the most popular U.S. debut in Asian group history and will debut in the U.S. in October with a large-scale promotion. 

Also, as requested by CMG, Lee Soo-man, who is the leading music producer for this SuperM representing Asia, has created the K-pop craze that is currently gaining global attention and has made a significant contribution to the development of the Asian entertainment industry.

SuperM was released through video as well as by the weight of SuperM's U.S. launch, drawing attention from American music industry officials and the media. 

Meanwhile, SuperM is in the process of preparing contents with the aim of unveiling them in October and plans to launch promotions in Korea and the United States.
