Zico made a surprise announcement of the music video for his new song "Y" by his hip-hop cream FANXY CHILD.

On Aug. 6, Zico unveiled the merger site of FANXY CHILD, which is set to be its first solo concert in four years, through SNS Live Broadcasting. 

The members of FANXY CHILD (Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millik, and StayTune), who showed up in comfortable attire on the day, started to communicate actively with fans, starting with stories about the release of their special single "Y" in a friendly atmosphere, talking about recent developments and having Q&A sessions.

Zico said that the special single "Y" will pre-release the music video at midnight on Tuesday ahead of the release of the song. The new song "Y" runs through the theme of this FANXY CHILD's first concert. “It's high quality, so you can really look forward to it," he said in a surprise announcement.

In particular, Crush said of FANXY CHILD's concert, "It's going to be a meaningful performance because it's the first time we've all done a concert together. Please look forward to our own new performance, breathing with a great band," he told his fans.

"We're going to put on a great stage so that we don't have any disappointment or regret in the steps that go around," Stettune said in a statement.

As such, FANXY CHILD has been communicating with fans ahead of its first solo concert in four years since its formation, raising fans' expectations to the fullest with its powerful spoiler.

FANXY CHILD will unveil its special single "Y" at 6 p.m. on Aug. 9, while the music video will be pre-released earlier at midnight.

The new song "Y" is a blend of FANXY CHILD members Zico, Crush, Dean and Penomeco's personality, and was produced by STATE. As the song was completed by artists with a wide range of musical abilities and talents, including hip-hop and R&B, the music fans are already paying keen attention.

Meanwhile, FANXY CHILD will hold its solo concert "Y" at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul's Olympic Park on Aug. 10-11, after the release of its special single "Y."
