Girl group GFRIEND set its own record with its new mini
album "FEVER SEASON."
According to Hantor Chart, the nation's largest music
sales website, initial sales of the new mini album "FEVER SEASON" hit
51,234 copies from July 1-7, the highest since its debut.
This is 11,251 more copies than the second full-length
album "Time for Us" released in January, the highest-ever by GFRIEND.
GFRIEND, in particular, has been growing steadily since
it first began selling 500 copies of its debut album "Season of
Glass" for 500, and is showing signs of breaking the 50,000 marks now in
its fifth year.
In addition, the new mini album "FEVER SEASON"
sold more than 25,000 copies on its first day of release, showing off its
powerful fandom firepower.
As such, GFRIEND, with its solid fandom at home and
abroad, has established itself as a mainstream girl group with steady growth in
the music sales sector.
Moreover, GFRIEND's fandom growth is also notable because
the size of fandom is directly related to album sales.
In addition to the hot summer season, the new mini-album
"FEVER SEASON" came up with the idea from its debut album
"Season of Glass," which features a passionate stage and a commitment
to music to be presented by GFRIEND at a glance.
The title track "FEVER" is a song that combed
tropical nights with the heat that didn't cool off even at night, giving
passionate performances with the members' pen and sweat, and didn't lose its
traditional colors.
Meanwhile, GFRIEND is actively working with its new song "FEVER."
