ITZY introduced the choreography and sound of its new song "ICY" for the first time ahead of its comeback.

As the strong intro is presumed to contain ITZY's unique dynamic choreography, it foretells the march of "Second Big Hit" following its debut song "Dalladal."

JYP Entertainment's new girl group ITZY will release its first mini-album "IT'z ICY" and the title track "ICY" at 6 p.m. on Monday and make a splendid comeback. Amid the K-pop industry's focus on the comeback of "The Host Rookie," which hit a mega-hit song with its debut song "Dalladal" in February, JYP on Saturday unveiled its first teaser video for the music video for "ICY" on its official SNS channel at midnight.

The "ICY" MV teaser starts with people inside the office where "Dalladal" is flowing out looking out the window with curious eyes. While the people who gathered one by one cannot take their eyes off the window, there are five ITZY members who wear neon-colored looks outside the building and show a distinct presence.

This is followed by strong intros from "ICY," followed by performances from Yeji, Chaeryeong, Ria, Ryujin, and Yuna. The strong, plump sound from the intro, the lyrics "I SEE THAT I'M ICY" that appear briefly at the end and the dynamic choreography of ITZY that the members present, signal a strong addiction. It also brings curiosity about full-version songs and MVs.

ITZY's comeback title track "ICY" expressed a cold exterior but passionate inside. It is a 2019 summer song that members of ITZY, full of hot dreams and passion, will showcase to cool off the hot summer.

In particular, JYP's Park Jin-young participated in writing and composing songs for ITZY for the first time. The lyrics were participated by talented producer and rapper Penomeco, who created TWICE's "Dance The Night Away," Ellen Berg, who worked on Red Velvet's "Picaboo," Daniel Caesar, Ludwig Lindell, and "IrmHome" by BTS.

ITZY, the fourth-generation girl group of JYP and the best rookie in the music scene in 2016, made its official debut on Feb. 12 this year with its first digital single "IT'z Different" and title track "Dalladal." The music video for the debut song "Dalladal" surpassed 10 million views in 18 hours after its release and exceeded 100 million views in 57 days, setting a record of "100 million views in the shortest period" based on K-pop debut groups. In addition, it has made a new history in the K-pop industry by winning a total of nine awards in music broadcasting, including the top spot in terrestrial music broadcasting for the shortest period of time by K-pop girl group, and seven awards in terrestrial broadcasting.

Meanwhile, ITZY will unveil its new album "IT'z ICY" and title track "ICY" at 6 p.m. on Monday and pre-release the "ICY" MV at midnight earlier in the day. He will also hold his first fan showcase at 8 p.m. at Blue Square I-Market Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and meet with "MIDZY."
