ITZY, which will release its new album "IT'z ICY" and title track "ICY" on Monday, is entertaining fans by unveiling various comeback contents in sequence, including tracklists, groups, units, and individual teaser images.
JYP Entertainment on ITZY's SNS at midnight on Wednesday showed three different images featuring Yuna, the last individual teaser runner of the new album "IT'z ICY."
Yuna, the last runner following Yeji-Lia-Ryujin-Chaeryeong, posed a cool, refreshing smile in a sparkling background in an open teaser. She also used the new song "ICY" concept to show off her outstanding beauty, with ice cream, raising questions and expectations about the new song that will represent the music industry this summer.
Yuna, the youngest of the five ITZY members (16-year-old), is a healthy, lively figure in the team and a member of the showy visual. Upon her debut, she joined JYP girl group's youngest visual genealogy, captivating the public with her outstanding stardom.
The title track "ICY" is the song that hit-maker JYP Park Jin-young wrote and composed for ITZY for the first time, capturing ITZY's shining charm. Producer and rapper Penomeco has been listed in rap-making and lyrics, while Kazzi Opera, Ellen Berg, Daniel Cesar, Ludwigar, and Lindley. The lyrics melted ITZY's girl crush with a message that she would "walk her way confidently without being intimidated by what others say."
The "2019 Power Rookie" ITZY will hold its first fan showcase to celebrate its comeback at Blue Square I-Market Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at 8 p.m. on the day of the new album's release, and will meet with "MIDZY." You can apply for the fan showcase from 21:00 p.m. to 0:00 p.m. on the 22nd (Month) on the "Showcase O" bulletin board in JYP.
ITZY, which is hitting the K-pop scene in 2019, debuted on Feb. 12 this year after releasing its first digital single "IT'z Different" and title track "Dallah." The music video for the debut song "Dalladal" surpassed 10 million views in 18 hours and exceeded 100 million views in 57 days, setting a record of "100 million views in the shortest period" based on K-pop debut groups. He is also expected to make a comeback with stellar performances, including "No. 1 in terrestrial music broadcasting for the shortest time" based on K-pop girl groups and "a total of nine awards in music broadcasting," including seven awards in terrestrial broadcasting.
Meanwhile, ITZY will unveil its new album "IT'z ICY" and title track "ICY" at 6 p.m. on Monday and will first showcase its "ICY" MV at midnight on the same day.
