TWICE attracted more than 11,000 fans from the Los Angeles "The Forum" concert hall, marking the successful start of its first U.S. tour.

On Wednesday, JYP Entertainment said that TWICE has sold more than 11,000 fans in its Los Angeles "The Forum," its first solo concert stage in the U.S. since its debut on Thursday. Local fans were enthusiastic about TWICE's first U.S. stage, and through this, the first American tour of 2019's World Tour 'TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 'TWICELIGHTS' took a successful first step," it said.

The concert was held at "The Forum," which was housed by world-renowned pop stars such as Elvis Presley, Jackson Five, Freddie Mercury, and Lady Gaga, adding further significance to the start of TWICE's solo tour in the Americas, the first of its kind since its debut.

Global ONCE (Fandom name) created a spectacular procession with no end visible in front of a pop-up store selling TWICE-related goodies. It was also a seat-designated system, but it did not work. The front of the concert hall was filled early, and in certain areas were K-pop cover dancing, and singing, making the venue of the festival even more exciting before the concert.

The concert, "Twice," delighted local fans who had been waiting for TWICE's first concert in the U.S. by showing spectacular performances through its previous hit parade and unit stage. Fans responded to TWICE's passionate stage with "tuts" and the members also actively enjoyed the stage together, encouraging fans to respond.

TWICE's cover of Jackson 5's original song "I WANT YOU BACK" was particularly hot on the stage. Jackson Five is also a pop mogul who performed at "The Forum," with TWICE's version of "I WANT YOU BACK" generating deep nostalgia for local fans who love the original song.   

In addition, the audience was moved by the recent fan event for Mina, who has been unable to participate in the tour due to health reasons. During the performance of "AFTER MOON," TWICE members changed the color of their cheering sticks from "Candybong" to "Mint," which is unique to Mina, filling the entire forum with mint-colored waves. In response, the eight members also expressed their commitment to come back as nine members, wishing Mina well-being.

At the end of the concert, the members showed their love for their fans with cute English impressions, drawing a smile of satisfaction from their fans. 

TWICE, which has completed an LA performance, the first leg of its tour to the Americas, among the 2019 world tour "TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 "TWICELIGHTS," will meet with local fans in Mexico City on Wednesday, Newark on Monday and Chicago on Sunday.

It will then continue the fever of the 2019 World Tour with a performance in Kuala Lumpur on Aug. 17 and a 12-time Arena tour, starting with Hokkaido on Oct. 23.

TWICE previously kicked off its 2019 world tour at the KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on May 25 and 26, and completed a total of three regional tours in Asia with 28,000 fans, including Bangkok on April 15 and Manila on May 29 the same month, and Singapore on May 13.
