The music video for BLACKPINK mega-hit "DDU-DU DDU-DU" reached the milestone of 900 million views for the first time by a K-pop group.

The music video for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" surpassed 900 million views on YouTube at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday (30th). It is the first time in a year, one month and 14 days since its release on June 15 last year. BLACKPINK, which has left tracks for the first-to-last new music video viewing on YouTube, reached 900 million views with "Cutdu," grabbing the milestone that no K-pop group had.

BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" has been on a new record of reaching 200 million views for the shortest time for all K-pop group's male and female groups. The music video also became the fastest to reach 900 million views for the first time, following the momentum of writing the first-to-last record of 800 million views.

Last summer, "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which enjoyed a long-term reign at the top of the chart by hitting the music video market, was also honored at the time as one of the most-watched K-pop music videos in the world. Dubbed "Queen" by YouTube, the world's largest video platform, Black Pink has held a total of 16 views, including eight music videos, hit dance videos and music broadcasts released so far since its debut, including member Jenny's "SOLO."

BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel confirmed its unrivaled presence as a global star, with more than 28.73 million subscribers.

In 32 performances in 23 cities across the four continents, it made 22 successful sales, averaging 96.6 percent of the seats.
